I have been eyeing Thrive Causemetics products for quite some time now. But I haven’t purchased anything yet because I wasn’t sure about their cruelty-free status. As I mentioned in my post on cruelty-free claims, there are several factors to consider when determining if a company is in fact cruelty-free. I reached out to Thrive Causemetics and asked them a series of very specific questions in order to determine if they are cruelty-free. Their customer service team was very forthcoming and emphasised how important it is to them to be cruelty-free and vegan.
And I’m happy to confirm that Thrive Causemetics is in fact 100% cruelty-free and vegan!

Beauty with a purpose
It isn’t a simple coincidence that this brand’s name is spelled Causemetics. For every product you purchase from Thrive Causemetics, one is donated to help a woman thrive. You can check out some of the organisations they work with here, including children’s organisations and cancer foundations. It’s also worth nothing that none of their ingredients include parabens or sulfates.
