Recently, I've really been in the mood for baths so I decided to go pick up a few Lush bath products. Their Valentine's Day Collection is out right now so I thought it would be nice to post a little review of some Bubble Bars and Bath Bombs in case some of you are interested in giving them a shot! [Lush is completely cruelty-free and the products mentioned here are vegan.]

 Lovestruck Bubble Bar

Lush Lovestruck Bubble Bar

Lovestruck is a lemon-geranium scented Bubble Bar. It has a significant scent in its solid form. However, once the bar is crumbled into the tub, the scent isn't significantly noticeable. It has a slight fresh lemon scent.

I have very sensitive skin so I'm always very cautious about which bath products I purchase from Lush as some of them can be heavily scented. This bar did not irritate my skin.

I crumbled about half the bar into my bath and it created more than enough bubbles. This bar made the water turn neon yellow but it did not stain my tub. I rinsed the tub afterwards, as I usually do, and it was fine.

Overall, I enjoyed my bubble bath with the Lovestruck Bubble Bar. However, there are other Lush Bubble Bars that I like more than this one. This is a limited edition bar so if you're interested in giving it a shot, the last day to purchase it is February 14th.

Cupid Bath Bomb

Lush Cupid Bath Bomb

The Cupid Bath Bomb is made of powdered rose petals, raspberry juice and bergamot oil. It has a very light rosy-raspberry scent. To be completely honest, I'm not a big fan of Lush Bath Bombs. This one in particular kind of fizzed out into nothingness, which is definitely not what I want when I'm spending over $5 on one single bath bomb. I personally wouldn't recommend Lush Bath Bombs - they aren't terrible but they aren't anything special in my opinion.

This bath bomb is limited edition. So if you're interested in giving it a shot, the last day to purchase it is February 14th.

Ladybug Bubble Bar

Lush Ladybug Bubble Bar

This Bubble Bar is made by hand with geranium and peppermint oils so it has a sweet minty scent. I found this scent to be soothing and it did not irritate my skin. The purple and red colours made the water turn fuchsia, which I thought was really cool. This bar bubbles very well - I only need about 1/3 of the bar per bath.

I really liked the Ladybug Bubble Bar and I would purchase it again.

Overall, I'm a sucker for the Lush Bubble Bars so I highly recommend trying one if you haven't already. Let me know what some of your favourites are in the comments below!
