JĀSÖN Normalizing Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner [Review]

JĀSÖN Shampoo & Conditioner

Since going cruelty-free and vegan, the most difficult thing to replace for me has been hair products. I have tried lots of products from several different brands and I have only found one product so far that I consistently keep going back to. Keep reading to find out what I think about the JĀSÖN Normalizing Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner.

JĀSÖN Normalizing Tea Tree Shampoo

This JĀSÖN Tea Tree Shampoo claims to gently cleanse and nourish to minimize dry, flakey skin build-up on the scalp. Its ingredients include Australian Tea Tree Oil, known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungicidal properties, Grapefruit Extract and protein to purify and fortify hair follicles and soothing Calendula, Hops, Sage Extracts and Wheat Germ Oil to help relieve the discomfort of itchiness. This product claims to be gentle enough to use everyday.

I would have to agree with these claims! As I have mentioned in a previous post, I have psoriasis on my scalp which makes my skin very itchy and sensitive. So I need a product that will cleanse well enough to remove dry patches but be gentle enough not to irritate my skin further. And I can definitely count on this shampoo to strike that fine balance! I will note, however, that this product does not (nor does it claim to) cure psoriasis or eczema in any way. But I have personally found it to be a good product to manage and soothe the discomfort associated with psoriasis. I have repurchased this product three times already so that’s definitely a good indication that I like this product!

JĀSÖN Normalizing Tea Tree Conditioner

The JĀSÖN Tea Tree Conditioner claims to re-condition dry, brittle hair, and soothe a flaky, irritated scalp. Despite the fact that I really like the JĀSÖN Tea Tree Shampoo, I am not a fan of the conditioner. I have fairly dry wavy/frizzy hair and this conditioner did not do anything to help with that. Also, I had to use a lot of product compared to what I would normally use. I will not be repurchasing this conditioner and I personally wouldn’t recommend it.
