It has been a hot minute since I have posted on my blog! As many of you know, I took a break from blogging in March to focus on my final exams for my last semester of law school. And then I had to study for and write the Bar exams this summer. But long story short – I finally have time to get back to posting on my blog!
Over the course of the past six months, I have both looked forward to resuming these posts and I have also debated whether I should continue. Essentially, I questioned myself on whether or not anyone cares about what I have to say or if what I am trying to say matters in the end. And I have come to the conclusion that it is precisely the fact that no one cares that should push me to continue. It may sound like a counterintuitive conclusion but hear me out.
Initially, my bunny Blanche-Neige was the inspiration for switching to cruelty-free products. The thought of testing chemicals on such a loving and precious living being appalled me. So I decided to change the choices I make as a consumer. But I have learned so much throughout this journey that I wanted to take it a bit further and share it with others. In this era of unbridled consumerism, I strongly believe that it is important for us to change the way we consume and to become more conscious consumers. So my goal in this blog is to highlight the importance of sustainability and compassion in our choices as consumers.
You can expect to see a range of different topics on this blog including beauty product reviews and recommendations, cruelty-free resources and tips, discussions on national and international laws pertaining to the protection of animals and of the environment, and various posts relating to lifestyle.
…and you can contribute!
